Seven Hills April Fools  X  Doll House Mocha Latte

April pulled a fast one on all of us.  After being ultra sounded not in foal, she was turned out in the pasture to grow up some more.  She continued to gain weight, all in her little belly. We finally decided we had better bring her up as the beginning of an udder was obvious. Since she was pasture bred we are not sure of a foaling date.  She was never observed in heat. Stay tuned for further updates.

This little fella had a rough start but now all is well. What a cutie !  Will be small and looks like stallion material.

Bonus Baby !

Dear, sweet Buttons was brought up from the pasture in February looking mighty slim and trim.  No pregnant belly at all. As Buttons has been the local short stirrup star, this baby was much anticipated. A very successful career in the regular pony division was not possible for this talented mare due to 1 1/2 inch of wither making her a solid 14.3 1/2  Hony or Porse. After three months in the brood mare paddock, it was determined that she was no longer in foal.  We were very disappointed and turned her back out in the barren mare field. On June 18th we were doing the regular checks of the pastures and , guess what !!!  Pictures below.
