This page was created by request of the girls that hang out and ride at the barn.  They wanted to show you the fun they have with ponies.

December, 2007

The barn girls spent the after Christmas holidays at the farm.  It was work and fun all at the same time.  They fed ponies, cleaned stalls, played with the weanlings, cleaned tack and rode. They even took a little time to out to play with General Lee. General Lee is the most valuable animal on the farm.  He halter breaks all the babies. I think the girls went home very tired.

The girls decided they wanted to ride into the new year so we met at the barn at 11:15 to tack up ponies.  Then they managed to feel their way to the ring in the moon-less night. They rode and whooped as the new year came in and as the neighbors gave us an unexpected fireworks display just beyond the trees.  The ponies took it surprisingly well and nobody fell into the mud.
